This is a really nice resource which you can use to consolidate substitution into expressions. There are some expressions on each card which students have to substitute into in order to determine which card wins. It is unclear what numbers students are meant to substitute in? You could display values for a, b, c and d on the board for them to use, and change the values to increase or decrease the level of challenge. This would make a great activity at any stage of the lesson. Thank you for sharing.
