About This Lesson

Part of a series of TESiboard angle estimating and measuring activities, "Angle Inside Shape Estimate then Measure". Choose whether to play with triangles, quadrilaterals or polygons. Practice measuring angles inside the shapes by first estimating an angle then using the interactive protractor to measure the angle accurately. You will be shown and told how accurate your estimation and measure are. The closer you are, the better the feedback! Can you get it spot on? Aligned with Common Core State Standard: 4.MD.4

Standards

Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Solve problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions by using information presented in line plots.

Very clear - nice feedback on your estimate (a speedometer style pointer). Good for individual learners or at the board as wrap up / introduction to estimating and measuring angles
