About This Lesson

http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video tutorial I show you how to multiply imaginary numbers. We will multiply monomials, binomials and trinomials together and then simplify. It is important when multiplying complex number that we simplify the answer and write in standard complex number form. We multiply complex numbers just like we would multiply polynomials and simplify by combining like terms. The main difference with complex numbers is that i squared is equal to negative one.
