About This Lesson
This 2-page document shows students how to simply create a paragraph to prove a claim. It begins with writing a topic sentence, then has sentence starters for introducing evidence, then 2 models for either a direct quote or a paraphrased quote, and finally, your analysis. The analysis part also has sentence starters/phrases students can use to analyze how evidence proves a claim.
