About This Lesson
This rubric is written in student friendly language, organized by 5 criteria: thesis, claims, evidence, analysis, and conventions, has examples of questions/comments the teacher would write for each criteria, and includes the CRAP test for finding credible sources at the bottom.
The categories for the rubric are well defined and useful to the receiver. Would consider re-framing the column of least capability to focus on the need for improvement. For example, rather than 1 = Not good enough, need to re-do, my suggestion would be 1= needs improvement. Further, for the 1 rating for thesis, my suggestion would be: Thesis requires considerable clarification.
