About This Lesson

This video uses an apartment building as an analogy for the levels, sublevels, and orbitals in the quantum mechanical model of the atom. The video covers the Afbau principle and how orbitals fill. The analogy extends to the Pauli Exclusion Principle and the Hund Rule as well.
