About This Lesson

This lesson gives students an opportunity to learn about the history of United States policy towards climate change and energy production. Students analyze multiple sources to gain a deeper understanding of how the United States uses different energy sources and how the nation is working to combat climate change.

This lesson was originally made to be used in conjunction with the Edward M. Kennedy Institute's in person Senate Immersion Module but we also encourage you to use it as an independent lesson or activity in your classroom.
