About This Lesson

In this lesson students have the opportunity to take on the role of a real United States Senator and make decisions regarding real life scenarios on climate and energy policy. Students will research their senator to learn about their state, political party, and personal positions. They will then use that information to make decisions on issues of national importance.

This curriculum was originally written to be used in conjunction with our in person program at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute but can be used as a stand alone lesson to teach your students about the United States Senate and climate related policies.
