About This Lesson
Students demanded they learn more about Genghis Khan. I created a very detailed orientated biography of Genghis Khans early life to later life achievements. Students were expected to code the biogrpahy as I read aloud. Students then worked on guided questions/graphic organizer. Also a counterfactual analysis (What if Genghis Khan never ruled?) was assigned. In the future I would like to generate a whole group discussion based on this counter factual analysis. Students will have the opportunity to argue and justify their work.
