About This Lesson

For this topic the emphasis was on performing; very much in the Musical Futures style of learning. I looked at the development of Blues comparing features of early Delta Blues like Robert Johnson's 'Come in My Kitchen' with later Chicago Blues like John Lee Hooker's 'Boom Boom' and Muddy Waters' 'Hoochie Coochie Man'.Lots of key vocabulary can be learnt and demonstrated through listening and performing the Blues that is the basis of the Popular music strand.
