This is a great resource, godsend getting me through my teacher training. thanks
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou. I am an experienced teacher from Australia and have never seen a unit so detailed. You have helped me plan my first term for this year. I look forward to other units.
Excellent lesson plan! There's a graphic in Billy Martin's Riddum book that shows the slave trade route and how specific clave rhythms came over with each route. It's an absolutely brilliant way of explaining exactly how the slave trade influenced music all over the word.
I would upload it buts that's probably not legal. You should buy that book. Once you understand the notation its a great way to teach polyrhythms to children. And it's only $25.
This is great information but I'm not exactly sure how to put it all to use. Some of it is self-explanatory, but some of it is not. Could you please provide more detailed information? You could email me at Elainetbn@aol.com. Thank you.
I felt like it was prepared for me, thanks a million.
A very detailed unit plan with lots of information and activities. Could I ask what songs you use in the Blues lesson 1 powerpoint file? Thanks.
thank you very much, can i ask for the songs that you used it?
This is a god send thank you.
