About This Lesson
Students will learn the history of atomic theory, beginning with Dalton and progressing through Thomson, Rutherford, and Bohr. They will then explore the Bohr model of atoms, also known as the planetary model, wherein electrons are organized into energy levels with the nucleus at the center.
