About This Lesson
The AFT Children's Health, Safety & Well-being program is designed to speak directly to member and leader priorities, as outlined in "Helping Children Thrive." The brochure, "Improving children's mental health" reviews common childhood mental illness and discusses several examples of how the adoption of trauma-informed practices and institutional change promote mental health and social-emotional well-being.
