About This Lesson
Many students will be heading off the college in the coming years, and some don’t have a comprehension of money. This assignment, while it is a bit far-fetched, will better help them to prepare for their move into a college dorm. The expenses will be different for that move (a bed is usually included, but most students want their own mini-fridge and/or microwave), but the research will be very similar.
This is the ultimate in cross-curricular activities. It connects nearly every subject in an extensive project that requires higher order thinking and problem solving skills.
