About This Lesson

Watch Rebecca Goldin, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Mathematics and Director of Research for STATS at George Mason University, discuss her career and areas of research. We learn about the importance of understanding statistics, Moment Maps, Schubert’s Polynomials and other topics in her field. She also shares her time living in Paris and the importance of family in rounding out her life. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Harvard and went on to MIT for both her Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Mathematics.
