About This Lesson

Watch Theresia Gouw, Venture Capitalist at Accel Partners in Silicon Valley, share how she took her early experience as a startup entrepreneur to become an investor that helps new companies grow from the idea stage into thriving companies. Some of the companies she has invested in include Birchbox, Glam, LearnVest and Modcloth. Her advice to girls who want to create their own companies is to find the thing you are passionate about and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it. Being an entrepreneur is the fastest way for women to reach C level.
