About This Lesson
I made this for my mother's second grade class as a fun way to learn about animals and make some inferences. The PowerPoint presentation teaches about the animals and the suspects. Students use the information from the PowerPoint and then they read and collect evidence from the witness statements as centers. At the end of a few days after they have collected the information, students would make an arrest. Usually there are two suspects working in cahoots! A teacher I know put wanted signs up for their suspects, detective badges and clipboards too. Enjoy! Let me know if you tried them!
