About This Lesson
A TES iboard control game. Help the chameleon catch all the flies, using turns and distance. The 'angle help' is a valuable scaffolding tool for thinking about specifying a turn and to lay foundations for protractor work. This activity also gives an opportunity to talk about direction and position, using the angles 45, 90, 135 and 180 degrees; language used ties in with 'LOGO' used in many Elementary IT schemes of work. This activity is the first of three, followed by Spider Web then Mole Maze.
Great activity for teaching turns, angles and control.
