About This Lesson
This document is a choice board covering 16 different Civil War battles. For each topic, students are provided links a C-SPAN video and one other .gov source (usually the National Park Service). With this information they are then asked to reflect on what they learned from each. Teachers can customize this document as needed -- the current directions ask students to complete 4 battles, but that can be adjusted. This is a multi-day activity that can be done in person or via distance learning.
