About This Lesson

Children will examine the images of the Garden Party on the Terrace of a Country Home screen, hearing briefly what each is about. They will then compare the screen to walls and dividers at their school or in their homes. This process of comparison will continue as the children describe similarities and differences between the clothing of this past era to what is worn today. Dressing up and having a fun “garden party” of their own ends the lesson.Appropriate for Early Childhood Education (Pre-K and younger). ECE-OR, ECE-OR-sp, ECE-OR-re, ECE-OR-ex, ECE-SO, ECE-SO-le
