About This Lesson
This lesson reviews previous language and structures (pronouns, school bag items, definite and indefinite articles) but also introduces learners to colors and to the verb haben (as usual with song and gesture). To give learners a productive outcome for the colors they learn, teachers can return to the first 3 slides and elicit either simple responses from them orally or ask them to choose a painting and write some sentences about it, using a dictionary to look up new nouns and use them with the correct case ending e.g. Es gibt einen Elefant. Ich sehe eine Katze.
