About This Lesson
This animation shows how two skaters can show the law of conservation of momentum. The two girls are exactly the same mass but the man is much heavier.
When one of the girls pushes against the other they both move away at the same speed but when the man and girl pushes against the man with the same force as before the man moves off much more
slowly because of his greater mass.
