About This Lesson

Objective: To have students analyze and evaluate the day-to-day decisions involving slavery at the Constitutional Convention as well as compare American slavery to modern-day slavery (Face of Modern Slavery – Sex Trafficking, Child Sex Trafficking, Forced Labor, Debt Bondage, Domestic Servitude, Forced Child Labor and Child Soldiers) using primary sources AIM: How does the decision-making regarding slavery at the Constitutional Convention differ from our current decisions regarding modern-day slavery (human trafficking)?
