About This Lesson

An activity to find pairs of numbers to add up to a chosen target. Set your target total using the drop-down, then find two flowers for each vase whose number of petals equals the total. Can you make the same total in different ways? Can you use two flowers with the same number of petals to make that number? Alternatively place one flower in the vase and ask students what is needed to make up the total. Ask students to say the sum that they have created. Appropriate for Early Childhood Education (Pre-K and younger). ECE-MA, ECE-MA-co, ECE-MA-po
