About This Lesson
Students will examine the artistic characteristics of Summer and explain how the natural materials portrayed in the painting reflect the types of natural materials available in Europe where the painting was created. Students will develop a composite picture using cut-out magazine pictures demonstrating the types of natural materials found in the geographical area in which they live or another region of the world that they have studied.
