About This Lesson
2012 Olympics will have the sports used in this activity. Students have to categorixe according to team sports/ ball sports and then any in the overlap. They'll see that there are quite a few left over. The Olympics was originally conceived of as a show of individual prowess so not a surprise that individual events are still much in evidence! This could be a springboard task to more indepth look at the Olympics or just a review of sports.
