About This Lesson

In this excerpt from the documentary "Not In Our School: Palo Alto," Gunn High School students literally dissolve common stereotypes, when they participate in a Not In Our School lunch time activity. First writing hurtful stereotypes and words on rice paper, the students then place the papers in a pool of water and watch the words disappear. (TRT 1:40)

The video and lesson guide are available in Spanish.
