About This Lesson

Harness the power of first-person stories using this video and attached viewing guide to facilitate a guided discussion with your students about the 9/11 attacks.

Will Jimeno was a Port Authority Police officer who responded to the World Trade Center on 9/11 and survived the collapse of both the North and South towers. He was rescued by first responders, including NYPD ESU Officer Scott Strauss. This story was filmed as part of our Anniversary Digital Learning Experience (DLE), which introduces students to first-person accounts of the 9/11 attacks. For more information, click here.
