About This Lesson

A simple board game that requires students to double or halve a number. If they get it right they stay where they are. If they get it wrong they go back a place (or 2 places if you’re feeling really mean!). Game can easily be altered to make numbers higher or even completely change the objective of the game. I have used the same layout to play '10 more' or '10 less' games or 'what do you add to the number to make 10' games. The possibilities are endless!

Thanks very much, easy to use and adapt - the children think the frogs are cute!

Great looking game. I will adapt it by removing all the numbers and laminating the game board. I can then add numbers that they find tricky- meaning that becomes their focus. They will also be able to use counters to make the doubles/ halves to start wi

Great resource for my Wave 3 Group. They love a game at the end of the session to practice what we have been focusing on. Thanks!
