Thien Pham is an Oakland artist and educator. His book, Sumo, is a graphic novel about an aspiring Sumo wrestler. We dropped in for a lesson in constructing four-panel comic strips.

I have only watched the video

I have only watched the video. I haven't read the plans yet. Mr. Pham is an enthusiastic, clear presenter. I think my 5-7th graders will like watching him and enjoy giving cartooning a try!
