About This Lesson

This is a good math center game. Students get practice reading numbers 5-40. Each student is given a gameboard. Run at least 4 copies of the number cards and laminate. Number cards are placed in each space. The remaining cards are left in a pile. Roll a die and read the number card in the appropriate space. If child can read the number, he/she keeps it and replace the card with another from the draw pile. The child with the most number cards wins.

This is a nice number recognition activity that students can do with a friend. Thanks for sharing!
