About This Lesson
This lesson plan uses the finalist videos from the Easterseals disability film festival to help students understand the social model of disability. Students will learn what the social model is and then apply that knowledge to analyzing and discussing the finalist videos. This lesson is meant to help students realize how media can have an impact on how people perceive disability.
