About This Lesson

This is an article I wrote explaining 6 effects of world war I, to show students how impactful it was. The 6 effects are the deaths of fathers in Europe, the prominence of the US government and banks in helping Europe after the war, the destruction of empires like Austria-Hungary and the Ottomans, economic instability in Germany, the Armenian Genocide, and the Russian Revolution. After each effect, there is a questions for students to answer that involves some prediction, application, analysis, or evaluation. Also includes maps showing Europe and the Middle East before and after WWI.

I teach an adult high school

I teach an adult high school social studies class for my local community college and this is the sort of challenging work I'm looking for in order to engage my older learners as well as my more high-school age learners. thank you!
