About This Lesson
This is a culminating activity that utilizing engineering and design. Student have a lab that gives them the problem to create a crash barrier that is safe. Students should use knowledge of energy types and transformations as well as frictional forces. Energy chains and diagrams are also reviewed (prior knowledge from 8th grade curriculum).
