Energy Sources Question Sheet

This upload needs a little more direction. I would break the lesson down and have a popcorn callout with my class for the top of page one( brainstorming non-renewable and renewable resources). I would then have a mini-lecture with powerpoint support to give out the vital information. After the mini-lecture, I would go back to activity 1, and have the students edit their answers from the pre-teach activity. We would then have the students work with their elbow partner or in small groups to come up with the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of energy and chart them. Then as a closure activity they would present their findings out to the whole group. On day 2 we would start with a bell ringer that would use page 2. I would also incorporate maps using other forms of energy and look at their impact.
