About This Lesson
In this STEM-integrated engineering challenge, students will learn about different structures used for filter feeding as well as different fluid flows important for filter feeders. After watching a video interview with a female marine biologist and biomechanist about manta ray filters, students will engineer water filters, then test their effectiveness.
