An interesting puzzle which allows the pupils to play around with the parameters of the 'epidemic grid' to see what affects it has on the survival rate. I like this because you could think of a variety of different questions which mean the pupils have to investigate different parameters, and it also calculates the means and standard deviation, which could be used.
