About This Lesson

This activity is based around a simple 3x3 grid. Students must follow the clues given by the teacher to fill in the 9 numbers in the correct order; having a choice of 16 numbers to choose from.Activity can be done individually; or as a group/class activity where the teacher supplies clues and discussion would/could be allowed.Answer sheet is also included. :)

Good as a start of the year activity in grades 5 and 6, or as practice for grade 4 CCSS.
