About This Lesson
This is a fun literacy center to use in the Fall. Copy the sentence puzzle pieces on cardstock paper and laminate. Print a recording sheet for each child. Students work in pairs to put the puzzles together, looking for the first word with a capital letter, then looking for the last word with punctuation marks. Once the sentence is put together, the each child writes the sentence on the recording sheet. High frequency words incorporated are: see, like, I.
