About This Lesson

Students will examine the artistic characteristics of Madonna and Child with Saints; explain the meaning and significance of a patron saint; and write a short essay about an unofficial patron saint in their lives who has acted on behalf of an organization, activity, etc., in which they are involved.

This would take more than one or two days even, but it would be a good lesson for creating a non-fiction narrative.
