About This Lesson

Card sort of different reactions; (such as an explosion; car rusting; burning); students decide which reactions are considered fast and which are considered slow. A good basis for using thinking skills and getting students to understand there are many chemical reactions happening all around them. This could be used as the basis for a research project or a poster. Students can work alone or in pairs to match the reactions to its speed.
