About This Lesson

The 10th Amendment to the Constitution allows each state to set its own laws. That's meant that in Colorado Spring, CO, LGBTQIA+ rights have often been repressed. Meet the teacher who supported the students at William J. Palmer High School who took their school district to court - and won the right to have their first Gay-Straight Alliance, now called SAGA (Sexuality and Gender Acceptance Club).
