It took me a while to figure out that this simple powerpoint is probably just what I need to help kids make the connection between "moving the decimal point" and what is actually happening mathematically - why it works.
As far as the presentation goes - I love that it tells the kids the objective AND summarizes what they have done in the lesson. It has no bells and whistles - but I am not sure that is a bad thing ...
