About This Lesson
Unless you motivate your students to write, it's virtually impossible for improvement to occur. The Flat Stanley Project provides that motivation. Students send flat visitors to other classes or to people of interest (athletes, politicians, scientists, musicians...) and the recipients treat the Flat Stanleys as guests then return them with completed journals. There is a free Flat Stanley app for the iPhone and iPod (other platforms coming soon) that leverages the appeal of a mobile device.The Bulletin Board can connect your class with other classes all over the world to arrange exchanges.
