About This Lesson
Children identify frequently occurring words and pay attention to their meaning as they read. Readers also use the common spelling patterns to help them attack new words that share the same spelling patterns. There are two versions of the stories. The first is unedited and can be used to gain familiarity with the text. The second gives students the ability to fill in the blank with the correct sight words. There are Flash Card and Bingo-type games to practice with the words. <BR>Appropriate for Early Childhood Education (Pre-K and younger). ECE-LT, ECE-LT-al, ECE-LT-pc, ECE-LT-fl
