About This Lesson
This lesson will begin with a Do Now activity followed by group responses. The students will then do a simulation which teaches them the importance of education to produce quality goods and services. Students then read and respond to critical thinking questions related to education and GDP, followed by a group share, a summarizer, and a preview of the HW. In this lesson, students will be able to: 1.) Determine the connection between the education level and the GDP of a country. 2.) Determine the impact of higher education levels on the GDP of a country. Aligned to CCSS: RH.6-8.4, RH.6-8.7
