About This Lesson

This unit will focus on the topic of genetics, including meiosis and inheritance, for the high school biology classroom. At the end of this unit, students should be able to see how important the process of meiosis and crossing over are for sexually reproducing organisms, and know examples of what may happen when this process goes wrong.
