About This Lesson

A second unit in a regular Geometry class.  Covers Algebraic proofs (a simple extension of solving equations), applications of proofs outside of Geometry (so that students can see the use of proofs and understand the structure of a proof), and finishing with an introduction to basic Geometry proofs (congruent triangle proofs and proofs of the trigonometric ratios are covered in later units).
