About This Lesson
The teacher distributes the lyrics to the song, God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood, and a copy of the United States (US) map to each student. The teacher then plays the song while students simultaneously refer to the lyrics on their handout. Afterwards the students work in collaborative groups to read, discuss, and answer the questions while using the US map as a reference.
