About This Lesson
This lesson covers the themes of gossip, bullying and other social skills. It uses the book "The Gossip Monster" from the Reading A-Z program. Similarities and differences between this story and "Mr. Peabody's Apples" by Madonna are studied.
The lessons were designed for a special education program, covering standards from middle school, with differentiation and alternative methods and standards from Grade 1 addressed as well.
